Today I have for the most relaxed at home alone, which is also of good when you are together with several others all day :) Since I was in incredibly bad shape when the other booked the shark diving, I found out that it was best to avoid it this time. Something that was really a good idea since I was even worse today .. Have got a sinus infection so the state I'm in varies quite a bit but after countless hours of sleep today I found out that I had to go out to have a look around! It's Sunday so it's not really a lot that is open today, but Greenmarket is of course open during the day and it's "Sunday", prices. It's a short distance to go there from here (about 10-15 min), but we have gone this route so many times that there was no problem to plan the route that is most secure.
Usually it is very cheap on Sundays, and you get things for approx. half of what you have to pay the other days since there are few people in the market then. But this time it was quite a big difference from when I went last Sunday with Solveig. It was pretty obvious that they tried to trick me with sky-high prices, so you need to have your tounge straight in your mouth and rather walk away . Ask several different stalls and never forget what you paid for something, so you can use it to push down prices. It works :) Most things one can get to half of the price they start at, and they still earn alot .. The market is definitely something you should set aside some time for, because there is a lot of great craftsmanship in wood, metal and stone. Here are of of the things I bought there:
Male and female: 25 ZAR per piece. Some even said the double for these.. |

For those of you that aren't familiar to the currency, In South Africa they use South African rands (ZAR)
ZAR - Norwegian kroner (NOK)
1 ZAR = ca 0,75 NOK
10 ZAR = ca 7,5 NOK
100 ZAR = ca 75 NOK
